In its history since 1980, TL«PAC has gained unprecedented visibility for Texas library supporters in the eyes of elected officials. Achievements in which TL«PAC has played an important role include:

The establishment and continued funding of TexShare, a cooperative designed to increase resource sharing

Securing original funding for the Texas Library Connection, which focused on providing equitable access to information for public school students and staff throughout the state

Continuing support for the State Library’s biennial budget
